As a financial advisor, you are not expected to be an expert on P&C insurance, but you will add value to your clients if you are able to help them understand their P&C needs, identify risks, and recommend when it’s time to speak to a licensed professional about updating their coverage. This session takes you behind the scenes of a personal P&C insurance review to help you:
- Gain a better understanding of your client’s existing coverage and identify red flags
- Understand the P&C market and types of P&C insurers, and how they may factor in to your client’s coverage options and decisions
- Proactively address new exposures as a result of COVID-19, such as more people working from home, hiring nannies, etc.
- Learn the considerations involved in selecting the amount of umbrella/personal excess liability insurance your clients should purchase
