Newfound Associates is a Massachusetts based executive search firm specializing in Wealth Management recruitment. Our Client, a well-regarded Boston based Registered Investment Advisory firm is looking to hire a Senior Client Advisor to join their company. This RIA utilizes a well-developed, fee-only financial planning approach for its HNW clients and has offered this process for many years. The success and growth of the practice has been based on consistently providing holistic solutions to maintain and grow the wealth of individuals and their families.
The Senior Client Advisor will be immediately assigned responsibility for existing clients and also asked to support the President/Principals with the firm’s other important relationships. This role will involve (80%) account management, participating in regular meetings, creating, maintaining and executing on financial plans/strategies. The ideal candidate has experience with executive clients and will have familiarity with techniques related to stock concentration analysis/deferred compensation. There is also approximately a (20%) business development component for this role.
The Senior Client Advisor will have a qualitative/quantitative skill set and will demonstrate strong attention to detail with excellent verbal/written communication skills. Our client seeks candidates with strong technology aptitude and proficiency in planning software such as eMoney or other programs using Monte Carlo simulation. The CFP is required and other designations such as a JD, CPA or MBA are also desirable with a minimum of 10 years of industry experience.
